Giving 14 to 18 year-olds the freedom to push their limits, take on exciting challenges, and create unforgettable memories. As the final section attached to the Group, the Explorer Scout Unit gives our youth members the chance to take greater responsibility, lead themselves, and shape their own programme, all while working towards the top awards that Scouting has to offer. The Wildwood Explorer Unit meets every Monday, term time, 7.15-9pm at Cholsey Scout Hut.
In addition to these leadership opportunities, Explorer Scouts can become Young Leaders, contribute to camps and expeditions both at home and abroad, and take part in a wide range of adventurous activities – developing confidence, teamwork, and skills that last a lifetime, while creating unforgettable memories along the way.
