Welcome to 1st Cholsey Scouts!
Scouting is all about adventure, friendship, and learning new skills that last a lifetime. We encourage young people to challenge themselves, get outside, and grow in confidence while having fun and making a difference in their community.
1st Cholsey Scouts offers exciting opportunities for children and young people aged 6 to 18 in our Beavers, Cubs, Scouts, and Explorer groups. We run a diverse programme of weekly activities, organise camps, hikes, and take part in local events and community activities. We offer a welcoming and inclusive environment for all our young people to discover their potential and enjoy the spirit of Scouting.
Our sessions run term-time only and take place at our well-equipped and spacious Scout Hut (located behind the Red Lion pub in Cholsey). Each group has up to 24 young people and are run by an amazing team of volunteer leaders, all DBS checked and approved by the Scout Association. A 12-week term costs £43 per child, which covers our running costs and insurance.

Please note, places for 1st Cholsey Beavers, Cubs and Scouts are strictly reserved for residents of Cholsey and Moulsford.
